What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a lifelong journey of learning, balance and healing. It originated in India and is one of the oldest holistic healing systems in the world. Ayurveda translates to “the science of life,” and the system seeks to maintain an equilibrium of five elements that are believed to make up everything: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space.
At Vitality, Healing Haylee will work with you to map out a process that suits your specific needs, including taste (diet), sound (mantra), sight (color therapy), smell (aroma therapy) and touch (massage). She offers practical preventative care that increases energy, immunity and vitality!
Haylee Warner, HHC, RYT is a Seasonal Wellness Guide on Lenni Lenape Territory (Philly). She began learning holistic health to find the best way to take care of herself and avoid the Medical-Industrial complex. Her mission is to empower people’s agency within the healthcare system and to feel confident using everyday tools to support their wellbeing. The seasonal tools offered in her programs are no further than the spices in your kitchen and as close to you as your breath. The key is knowing what to choose for your unique experience. Haylee can guide you into understanding how the elements and seasons affect you as an individual. She has seen anxiety turn into grounded creativity with simple, but effective changes to routine, diet, and mindful lifestyle. Haylee is a creative and sensitive teacher bringing a knowledge of trauma sensitive mindfulness, Ayurveda and art to your wellness. When Haylee isn’t head over heels in a book, she is dancing, painting and playing with her pup.
Haylee began practicing yoga in 2007. It slowly became a regular grounding practice for her, and she decided to pursue a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. In 2013 she completed a Pediatric Yoga Certification from Summit Education, and 150-hour Advanced Training from Palo Santo Wellness Boutique. In 2017 she found the way she wanted to share yoga with folks who don’t often have access to it through Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Transformation Yoga Project. Throughout this time In 2018 she decided to take the next step in her healing journey and received her Holistic Health Counseling Certification at Ayurveda’s World, NYC under the direction of Dr. Naina Merbella. To continue to broaden her scope of practice she completed her Mindfulness Meditation Certification in 2018 through The Inner Strength Foundation. She is currently the co-owner of Vitality where we offer services & education to support your proactive care.
