Danica Arizola, owner of A LoveThing Healing Arts, is a Reiki Master Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist working within her community in the greater Philadelphia, PA metropolitan area.
A LoveThing Healing Arts was birthed in 2016 out of a vision that developed after Danica had organically grown her oncology massage practice. She was a co-owner of The Reiki School, and had begun more intentionally connecting to her Cherokee lineage and practicing Native American spirituality.
Danica is trained as a Certified Medicine Circle Caller, Certified Sound Healer, she has completed coursework in oncology massage, prenatal massage, cupping, Shiatsu massage, Acupressure, Thai Massage, Craniosacral work, and Applied Positive Psychology. She is involved with drum dances and sweat lodges, and has deeply embraced her Mexican heritage through a lifelong journey of learning the healing rituals of her ancestors. Through her role as a mother to two girls, and her background as a Stylist in LA and NYC, she has been gifted with the ability to relate to folks of many ages and from many walks of life.
Danica loves that she can be positive amidst all the challenges of life, and she continually trusts her inner mind and knowing, listening to her intuition. Her work in medicine circles has allowed her the space to heal and the ability to help others from a place of experience. These circles have helped her to trust her confidence as a facilitator and expand her ability to hold space for people who may be going through traumatic experiences. She integrates ancestral Mexican healing rituals within her life with the goal of offering them throughout the entire of her work, and envisions continuing her education in somatic therapies to move trauma through, “up and out.”

Deep Tissue Massage
A deep tissue massage is applied with firm pressure to realign the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It helps relieve chronic aches and pains. It also helps relieve contracted areas such as a stiff neck, upper and lower backs, and shoulders.
Hot Stone Massage
A hot stone massage uses heated stones to create a deeper muscle relaxation than a standard massage. The stones are heated with water to melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness and increase circulation and metabolism. The heat penetrates the skin to promote better blood flow and release toxins.
Myofascial Release Massage
Myofascia refers to connective tissue that surrounds the muscles, tendons and organs. Myofascial release is applied with a gentle sustained pressure to release tensions in the fascia due to trauma, posture or inflammation. This helps with muscle soreness, limited range of motion and stress around the tendons.
A therapeutic massage can help relieve pain and reduce stress and anxiety. In addition, it can also target a specific area of discomfort, and help with a variety of issues including frozen shoulder, sports injuries, soft tissue strains, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis and sciatica.
A prenatal massage is a gentle massage adapted for the anatomical changes women go through during pregnancy. Given while you lie on your side propped up by pillows, it is a healthy way to reduce stress, relieve backaches, a stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema.
During a cupping massage, a massage therapist places suction cups on areas of discomfort to alleviate aches and pains. Cupping assists with loosening muscles, encouraging blood flow, reducing inflammation and promoting healing. Cupping marks normally last from 3 to 5 days, depending on the area. The colors of the cupping marks range from bright red to a dark purple. A darker color indicates that there is a high level of toxins and stagnation in the area applied.
A CBD massage can relieve inflammation, pain and anxiety. CBD oil is non-psychoactive and anti-inflammatory, perfect for relaxation.
Cupping with CBD oil supports an even deeper muscle therapy. This is perfect for clients who are training for sports and athletics.
